A little bit about us...

We love singing pop & chart songs, both new and old! We're super friendly & we have a lot of fun!

A bit more about us...

Why should you join us?

Singing is good for you! It's been proven to help reduce stress, anxiety and depression as well as increase your endorphin (happy hormone) levels! Check out this article to find out more: click here.

Our choir are a lovely and very friendly bunch who work really hard at being super welcoming! You're bound to make some new friends and have a fantastic time singing!

How does a typical week run?

Each week the choir either learns a new song, or carries on learning one from the previous week. The choir is currently split into three sections, most easily described as high, middle and low. So if you're not sure whether you're a Soprano or an Alto or what they heck that even means, then think about if you prefer to sing high, low or in the middle somewhere. Simple! (And if you're still not sure then Lucy will get you sorted!)

Lucy teaches each section their part in the bit of the song they're learning, and then the whole choir comes together to test it out! It's such a fantastic experience!

You really don't have to be an amazing singer to join in! So why not come along and see what you think?

We love to raise money for charities!

Lucy's Pop Choir has done all sorts over the years to help raise money for both local and national charities and we can't get enough of it! We've worked with 'Sing for SASH', 'Sing for your heart' with Heart Research UK, Macmillan, Dementia Forward and Hope for Justice to name a few!

So far we've raised £6,967* since the choir launched in 2013! And that's not even including the heaps of events where we've performed to support charities, but been part of various things going on at their event, so couldn't work out how much the choir itself raised!

If you work with a charity or know about a charitable event coming up then please do let us know! We'll do our best to get involved!
